One night get away to Hazlewood Castle

Morning everybody,

So today I thought I should tell you about my one  night get away from the kids. My husband arranged a night at Hazlewood Castle in Tadcaster, Leeds. This exquisite Castle means alot to me as of 5 years next month! We were married on these beautiful grounds.

The staff are always willing to go that extra mile, the surrounding gardens are breathtaking along with an endless horizon of countryside.
We had a beautiful vintage suite that had it's own living room, double bed & a large bathroom, obviously to store my ridiculous amount make up & hair products. Once settled as check in was at 3pm, we took a little R&R.. The package also included a three course meal which you has a choice of luxurious mouthwatering food. The wine list was endless, my eyes were opened to very oaky wines, which at first I was not to sure of but a few sips later I was was very much enjoying.
The whole evening was just something that I needed, I could enjoy my dinner without having to worry about washing up afterwards 😊.
So swiftly moving onto the morning, we headed straight back to the restaurant were we were welcomed & seated. Looking across the room we were surronded with fresh pastries/ fruit/ juices & a menu for your custom English Breakfast.
I certainly indulged on the fresh fruit & pastries & my husband certainly enjoyed the English Breakfast.
(Best of all we saw a notice board about what vegatable & seasoning they grow themselves, it's nice to know the produce what they use is fresh & organic)
The checkout was 11am which I think is  good time as they are in no rush to throw you out, so we enjoyed one last look at the gardens & the Victoria Room before we headed to pack.
Ok so I maybe did take a sneak peak at the wedding packages before we left, maybe I can re-new my vows at some point. I am
not sure if my husband or my bank balance would agree. Though one thing I will say is this place is worth every penny. I would recommend Hazlewood Castle to anyone, whether it's a get away a wedding or christening they do it all.
The only thing I was disapointed about is me & the hubs wanted to use the Spa & they were fully booked & it took a while for someone to answer the phone. Yes my dears thats the only negative I had. So if you would like a little spa treatment I would  suggest to book in advance to avoid disappointment. However all in all it was the perfect night away with the venue that had it all & best of all my hubby who organized it! He's a keeper 😉.
